Who We Are
The Hangout Zone (THZ) is a safe, welcoming “Kids-Only” space designed for children, with a focus on ages 7 to 14. It channels kids’ passion for gaming into enriching, hands-on learning experiences that nurture creativity, media skills, and self-expression.
By leveraging gaming as a powerful developmental tool, THZ introduces kids to various aspects of media— encouraging them to explore, create, and collaborate while building confidence along the way.

At The Hangout Zone, we harness the excitement of gaming and media to spark curiosity and engagement. But our mission goes beyond play. We transform fun into meaningful learning experiences, blending interactive group activities to cultivate social skills, creativity, and emotional intelligence. All within a safe, supportive environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
Why We Exist
The Hangout Zone was founded out of deep care and purpose to be more than just a fun place for kids. We saw a growing need: children struggling with isolation, anxiety, and fewer opportunities to form real connections. As parents ourselves, we understand how meaningful it is to have a place where kids feel secure, can express themselves, and truly belong.
That is why we created The Hangout Zone, a “Kids Only” center built to spark joy, connection, and imagination. Through media-rich experiences like podcasting, karaoke, and green screen storytelling, we give kids a space to socialize, share ideas, and build confidence. Just as importantly, we give parents peace of mind and a little break, knowing their children are in a safe, inspiring place that values growth just as much as play.
